Born July 13, 1930 in Murphy, North Carolina to John and Josie Hall. She left us peacefully surrounded by her family and went to be with our Lord on November 22, 2009. She was the sixth of nine children and was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Hall, Russell Hall, Howard Hall; sisters, Eleanor Zimmerman and Arlene Saunders. She is survived by brothers, Carmel Hall of Canton, Georgia, John Hall of Norman, Oklahoma and Carlos Hall (Melba) of Big Lake, Washington. Her beloved husband, Ira Stalcup precedes her in death. She spent most of her young adulthood following Ira, who was stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Moses Lake, Washington, and Norfolk, Virginia as he served in the United States Air Force before retiring to Mount Vernon, WA in 1964. She was employed with Washington Bulb Company and Cotton Tree Inn. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Clear Lake for over 45 years. Her love of a simple, quiet life was only surpassed by her love for her family with the devotion and kindness that touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her children, daughter, Carolyn Lee (Fred); sons, Donald Stalcup (Colleen) and Mitchell Stalcup; grandsons, Chad Weyers, Eric Stalcup, John Lee and Scott Stalcup (Chelsea); great-granddaughter, Rylie Mae; and great-grandson, Lucas, all of Mount Vernon, Washington. The family gives thanks to the wonderful caregivers at Mira Vista Care Center and a special thanks to Dr. Tianna Tsitsis. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 5th, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Clear Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to First Baptist Church of Clear Lake
