IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jack Doyle
Farrell
October 29, 1942 – August 9, 2019
Jack Doyle Farrell, born October 29, 1942, passed away the morning of August 9, 2019, aged 76 years. He passed peacefully at home, after a long battle with kidney failure, and was surrounded by his loving family in his final days.
Jack was born to Cecil and Dorothy Farrell in San Diego, California, both of whom have preceded him in death. His sister, Sally, has also preceded him. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Peggy (Wilson); sons Spencer and Christopher Farrell, daughter Patricia (Sansone); and grandchildren Suzanna , Kassidy and Jackson.
Jack's life was a full one, filled with family and love. He spent a number of years in his youth serving as a medic in the US Air Force, stationed at the Hof Air Station in the Bavarian region of Germany. He returned home to San Diego, where he studied at San Diego State University, and later spent time working in the forest service fighting wild fires in Northern California's Scott Valley. He made a career spanning more than three decades in the insurance industry, but his passions lied in literature, photography, and shooting. Jack shared these pursuits, among others, with his children, teaching them what he knew. He drew the greatest joy from these moments, and simply being with his family, sharing time and stories of times past. He will be missed, deeply, by his family and friends.
The family requests that any donations be made in Jack's name to Hospice of the Northwest.
