"Jack" Clifford Jordan 02/29/1940 - 09/15/2007 On September 15, 2007, after a 14 month battle, Jack lost his courageous fight with Glioblastoma Multiform, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Jack was born February 29, 1940 in San Jose CA. Jack's beloved grandparents raised him in Petauma CA until 1945 when he moved with his father and mother to Oakland/San Francisco CA. The next move was to Anchorage Alaska where he graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in 1959. Jack and Dena married in 1961 in Carson City NV. He moved with his wife and children to Kenmore WA in 1965 to work for Boeing. In 1970 he began a 32 year career as a Flour Miller at Fisher Mills in Seattle WA. After retiring in 2002 he and Dena built their home on Camano Island. Jack is survived by his wife Dena: loving children: Tammy Davis of Lynnwood WA, Clif Jordan of New York City, Cathy and husband Scott Boze of Marysville WA, Rodney and wife Ginger Jordan of Hood River OR, Joseph and his wife Shelli Jordan of Lake Stevens WA. Grandfather Russell and wife Renee Graham; Brett and Danny Davis; Jordan, Kyle and Derek Boze; Brady and Melissa Jordan; and Emilee and Joshua Jordan, brother Russell Jordan of Santa Cruz CA. Jack was preceded on death by his parents Paul and Florence Jordan; beloved grandparents Sumner and Ina Belle Jordan. Jack's greatest love was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening, bird/whale/eagle watching, and was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Seattle Mariners. A memorial service will be held at Hawthorne Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 1825 E. College Way, Mount Vernon WA, on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow in the Hawthorne Reception Room. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in his memory to the National Brain Tumor Foundation or the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University.
