James "Jim" Cress age 62 passed away October 18, 2008 in Mount Vernon from a motorcycle accident. He was born May 13, 1946 in Chicago IL. He moved to Skagit Valley in 1989 and started Skipper Cress Yacht Sales in Anacortes and then became C.E.O of Nordic Tugs. He enjoyed boating, motorcycles, sprint cars but his main passion was his family and grandchildren. He leaves behind many family and friends who his life has touched. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008 2:00pm at Christ the King Community Church 2111 Riverside Dr., Mount Vernon with Pastor Dennis Spinnie Officiating. A potluck reception will be held immediately following in the Church's fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in Jim's name to the charity of your choice
