Sadly, Janette Katherine McPherson (O'Leary) closed her smiling blue Irish eyes forever on November 18, 2021.  The daughter of Thomas E. And Violet O'Leary (Renilson), she was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School, and enjoyed a dual career as a homemaker and as a retail clerk at the former Jo's Styles.  95 years young, she is survived by her daughter Deborah (David) Lenz, Grandson Scott (Sally) McPherson, Granddaughter Colleen (Chris) Kelly, former Daughter-In-Law Janie (Art) Woolbert, three Grandchildren, Connor, Lesley, and Rhiannon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill, her dear son Tom, her sister Therese (Lyle) Ovenell and brother Ed O'Leary.

Special thanks are due to the most compassionate and considerate home caregivers of Visiting Angels—Brittney, Angela, Amy, Danielle, Colleen, Brooke, Alyssa, Josie, Linda, and Joann.  Her family is also indebted to Skagit Valley Hospice, who supported her in her last days with us.

A funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Mount Vernon, WA on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 11:00am.  A graveside service will be held at Hawthorne Memorial Park on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 12:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Skagit Valley Wound Center would be most appreciated.
