Janice Faye Geise was born January 26, 1937 in Pasco, Washington to Anna and Adolph VanHollebeke. She was married October 15, 1955 in Pasco, WA to Ralph E Geise. Prior to retiring in 2000, Jan worked as a grocery checker at the Thriftway in West Seattle. For the last 10 years of her life, Jan has lived in Mount Vernon, WA. Jan passed away on June 11th, 2010 with her family at her side. She is survived by her husband Ralph; sisters Carol Ann Combs (wife of Robert Combs - Mt Vernon, WA) and Judy Actor (wife of Dave Actor - Spokane, WA). Beloved mother of Jeff Geise (husband of Cindy Geise) and Vanessa Larson. Beloved grandmother of Stephanie Adams (wife of Nathan Adams); Chris Larson; Joshua (JJ) Geise; Brandon Larson; Benjamin Geise (husband of Kelsey Geise); and Michaela Geise. Sadly, she died just short of the birth of her first great grandchild, expected in August. The family wishes to express our gratitude to the Mira Vista Care Center in Mt Vernon for their kind and compassionate care of Jan.
