Jerome Richard "Jerry" Shukis

Jerry entered eternal life on February 27, 2016. He was born in Rochester , NY on February 7, 1935 to, Lithuanian immigrants, Anthony and Anna Shukis. He was educated in upstate NY. In 1957 he married Dolly Ann Hoy and together they raised their four daughters. He had a successful career in engineering and business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, he was an avid dog lover and a faithful spectator at his grandchildren's sporting events.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. He is survived by his wife: Ann,; daughters: Kim (Dick) Stacey, Kyle (Ed) Stacey, Kath (Bruce) Doyle, Kara (Rob) Janicki; his thirteen grandchildren and his faithful dog, Abby.

He wished to recognize the excellent care he received from the Skagit Cancer Alliance and from his loving wife, Ann.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016, 7:00 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Sedro-Woolley. The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016, 10:30 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary, followed by a reception at the parish center.
