Jerry L. Cutshall passed away June 30, 2009 in Mount Vernon, Washington. He was born June 2, 1942 in Wenatchee, Washington to June (Craig) and Glen Cutshall. He grew up in Wenatchee, attending Wenatchee Valley Community College and graduated from Washington State University in 1965 with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduating he began working as an Engineer for Texaco's Puget Sound Refinery in Anacortes. Throughout his 33 year career he was proud to have worked on several special projects which took him to many countries such as, Trinidad West Indies, Sweden, Kuwait, Panama, and Russia. After retiring in 1999, Jerry enjoyed many home projects, gold panning, traveling with his wife, but mostly spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Jerry was a very generous and giving man. He put his family first and was quick to lend a hand to friends and neighbors. With each person he met, he left an impression behind whether it was his humor, quick wit or just pure generosity. He had a huge heart with an incredible enthusiasm for life believing in working hard and playing hard. Jerry is predeceased by his parents and father-in-law, Carroll Robideau. Jerry is survived by the love of his life of 22 years, Lenna; his children and their spouses; Susan (Marshall) Basham, Tiffany Rabelos, and Ryan (Colette) Pyatte; his amazing grandchildren, Jordan and Rylee Rabelos, Ryder and Caleigh Pyatte, and Zjon Clasen; and his mother-in-law Lorraine Robideau. Viewing will be held Thursday July 2, 2009 2:00pm until 7:00pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home 1825 E. College Way, Mount Vernon. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 at Fir Conway Lutheran Cemetery, Starbird Road (exit 219) head west on Milltown Road about ¾ mile and the cemetery will be on the left at the crest of the hill
