Jewel Fay Monroe, 73, of Burlington, WA passed away peacefully on October 11, 2021.  Jewel was born on March 13, 1948, in Lincoln, NB to William and Vera Monroe. She was the eldest of 3 children. Being a military family Jewel moved around a lot as a child.  She especially loved her time of life in Louisiana and Florida.

Jewel had many hobbies and interests.  She loved art and anything art related. Jewel loved being outside and the Pacific Northwest.  She adored her dog and her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Jewel is survived by her brother Robert Monroe, son Jason Farbo, daughter Jacquline Kang and son-in-law Alex Kang.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Austin, Olivia and Emma Kang as well as her beloved dog Joji.  Jewel was preceded in death by her parents William and Vera Monroe and her brother William Monroe Jr.

A small private family memorial will be held in her honor.
