Joan M. Peterson Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, Monday, June 15, 2015, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born October 9th 1933, she was 1 of 8 children born to Harland and Mary Livingston in Wenatchee, Washington. On September 11th 1954 she married the love of her life of 61 years, George W. Petersen. They moved to Skagit County in the spring of 1962 and there they settled and raised their 2 children. Survived by her husband, George W. Petersen of Burlington, Her son, Jeff and Mattie Petersen of Mount Vernon, Her daughter, Kaye and Raul Guajardo of Lake Stevens, Her grandson, Ian and Karleigh Petersen and great grandson Alex of Mount Vernon. And a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Skagit Oncology and Hospice. We were blessed to have traveled this journey with your guidance and support. And all the loving care you provided Mom. Please
