Johanne E. Dawson Johanne was born September 22, 1935 in Athol, Massachusetts to Theodore and Marion Chandler; she passed away September 15, 2009, in Mount Vernon, with her family by her side. Johanne graduated from Sedro Woolley High School 1954. She married Gordon January 7, 1956 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon. She was a wonderful wife and mother to Gordon and their kids. She is survived by her husband: Gordon; children: Theresa (Larry) Kelly, Steve (Dena) Dawson, Cheryl Dawson and Kevin (Julie) Dawson; grandchildren: Nathan Rodin, Taylor and Taryn Dawson, Dustin and Jeremy Hall, Blaze, Amber, Audrey, Kaiser and Holden Dawson; brothers: Gene Chandler and Gerald (Barbara) Chandler; sister: Carol Holden; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Johanne was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra; her parents, Ted and Marion Chandler; brother James T. Chandler; sister, Marilyn Gish; brother Neil R Chandler. A private graveside service will be at Hawthorne Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Friday, September 18, 2009, 10:00 am until 5 :00 PM. There will be a celebration of life reception at Hawthorne Reception Room Monday, September 21, 2009 at 1:00 PM
