John Lee Barrett, age 84, from Darrington, passed away peacefully with his son, Troy, by his side on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. He was embraced by his loving wife, Betty, who preceded him in death on March 24, 2018.

John was born in Nebraska on December 28, 1938.

He is survived by his children, Melody, Troy, Tresa, Tamie, Toni, Rob, and Terri, along with their spouses. He also has 12 grandkids, 22 great-grandkids, and many nieces and nephews. John is also survived by one brother, Jack, and three sisters, Barbara, Helen, and Janet.

He spent most of his life working on dairy farms as a milker.

John enjoyed working in his garden and watching his dahlias bloom. He also loved to go fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the OSO Fire Department on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 12:00pm.  This will be a potluck event, so please bring your favorite dish.

Memorial donations can be made to OSO Firemen's Association in honor of John Barrett.

John will be missed by many.
