Jon Louis L'Arrivee, 82, passed away on December 17, 2022, in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Jon was born on July 6, 1940, in St. Boniface, Manitoba Canada.

Jon attended Provencher school in Manitoba, Canada.  He worked for Air Canada.  Jon then moved to United States and became a naturalized citizen on July 7,1978.  During this time, he attended Chula Vista Adult School in California and Graduated on June 9, 1978.  In 1987 he became a certified driving instructor.  He went on to work for GTE and continued until his retirement.

Jon was a member of The Church of Christ in Mount Vernon.  He loved computers and electronics; he enjoyed studying history and going for long walks and loved the ocean.  He was a past member of the rock and mineral club in Mount Vernon.

He is survived by his wife Lyndon (Garman) L'Arrivee, daughters Ladena Polansky and Monique Cordeau, grandchildren Christopher, Edward, Elizabeth and Lyse and 7 great grandchildren.

He was loved by everyone that knew him, he was a kind and gentle soul.
