Joyce Greenough
1936 - 2026
Joyce went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 19, 2026.
She was born in Belzoni, Mississippi on August 30, 1936, the daughter of Percy and Ila Allen. The family relocated to Bellingham, Washington in 1942. Later her mother married George Ross and the family relocated to Sedro-Woolley in 1951, where she graduated from high school in 1954.
She married Gaylord Greenough in 1957 and together they had two daughters, Becky and Gena.
She is survived by her two daughters, Becky (Mark) Coulter, and Gena (Don) McDermott; five grandchildren, Justin and Trevor Coulter, and Clancy, Ron, and Danielle McDermott; and seven great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Gaylord, her parents, and her siblings, Doris Peterson, her twin sister, Loyce Galovin, Adell Rauch, and Jackson Allen.
A private family service was held at Hawthorne Memorial Park, in Mount Vernon.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Northwest.
