Joyce Alice Yeager Overby passed away on July 13, 2022, in Mount Vernon, WA.

Joyce was born in Graceville, MN. She married Carl Overby in their family home in New Effington, SD in 1955. Joyce raised four children out at Big Lake where they lived for 61 years.

Joyce was best known for her talent and love of baking. She loved ceramics, family barbeques, flowers, and her dogs. She was a very gentle spirit and was kind to all.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Carl Overby, parents Lorinda and Bill, sister June, and grandson Cameron.

Joyce is survived by Cheryl and Derek Beacham, Sharon Moore, Carl Jr and Pam Overby, Diane and Ron Aldridge, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 31, 2022, from 2PM to 4 PM at the family home. The address is 18056 State Route 9, Mount Vernon, WA, 98274.

The family would like any memorials to be made to Big Lake Fire Department.
