Judy Kennedy, 76, died July 15 ^th with her family by her side in Sedro-Woolley.

From her birth in Tacoma on April 4 ^th , 1943 she nourished the people around her with her faith and love. She was born to Iva and Pete Miller and was the youngest of 3 girls. She attended St. Leo's High School and also graduated from Clover Park school of nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She married Gene Kennedy of Texas in 1965 and together they had 3 daughters. The family moved to Mt. Vernon in 1979, where she worked nights to put their girls through private school. She was an active parent volunteer in her daughter's classrooms and a volunteer volleyball coach for several years at Immaculate Conception School.

Judy was a loving mother who was very proud of her family. She also loved being a grandmother and was "Meme" to her 10 grandchildren that she loved very much. She enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, holidays, cooking and caring for everyone. She cherished any chance to spend time with her family.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Kennedy; her parents, Iva and Pete Miller; and her sister Sally Griffin. She leaves behind 3 daughters: Julie and husband, Eric Lodjic; Sandy and husband, Philip Joyce; and Becky and husband, Ron Johnson; her niece, Pearl, and husband Joe; and her ten grandchildren: Katie, Kevin and Karlie Lodjic; Amy, Lindsey, Annie and Tyler Joyce; and Emily, Michael and Sophie Johnson.
