Karen L. Graham, 66, died February 25, 2023, at United General Hospital in Sedro Woolley.  She was born on October 2, 1956, in Burlington, Washington to Melvin and Dorothy Ekman.

Karen attended Burlington-Edison and Sedro Woolley schools and graduated from Sedro Woolley High School in 1975.  Karen continued her education at Skagit Valley College, earning her associate degree in Technical Arts in 1984.

Karen worked as a caregiver until her health forced her to stop and has spent the past 20 years residing in Where the Heart is assisted living center and Life Care Center.

Karen enjoyed arts & crafts, jigsaw puzzles, playing Bingo, and watching Golden Girls and the Hallmark Channel.

Karen is survived by her brother, Mark Ekman, and his wife, Janice Ekman, along with many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her father, Melvin Ekman, her mother, Dorothy Ekman, her sister, Vera Sullivan, her brother-in-law, George Sullivan, and her brother Wayne Ekman.

A memorial service will be held at Life Care Center in Sedro Woolley, WA on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00am.
