Karen Lee
Randall
August 3, 1943 – May 15, 2022
Karen Lee Randall, 78, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022, in Mount Vernon, WA.
Karen was born on August 3, 1943, in Canyon City, Colorado. She married and had 3 children. Karen moved to Mount Vernon where she settled down to raise her kids. Karen worked for Head Start in the kitchen, she went to college during these years while raising three children on her own and gaining more responsibility with her career. She continued to run Head Start for years and by the time she retired she had gone back to school and completed her master's degree.
Karen then moved to Tacoma and worked for children and families as a therapist. She became a foster parent for children in her Tacoma home. After years of fostering, she moved back to the Mount Vernon area where she spent the rest of her years with her family and friends. Karen loved to sew; she sewed for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and others.
Surviving Karen are her three children Victoria Lynn Sherwood, Sharon Ruth Stutzman and Richard Sherman Randall Jr. as well as her sister Nona Crane along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Karen is now at rest along with two of her grandchildren Ross and Stephen, and her closest friend Anita Wampach.
Karen's sparkling eyes, smile, loving heart and jokes will be surely missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
