Karene Chapin age 96, passed away January 2, 2010 at Mount Glen Retirement Home in Mount Vernon, WA. She was born August 10, 1913 in Addy, Washington to Christian and Josephine Johnson. She was educated in Kittitas, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, her parents and 14 siblings. She is survived by 2 daughters Barbara (Jim) Harper of Burlington, WA and Gloria Morrison of Seattle, WA; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Special thanks to all of her caregivers at Mountain Glen.
