Karla K. Nothaft, 72, died unexpectedly of cardiac arrest on June 29, 2023, in Stanwood, WA.  She was born November 28, 1950, in Fulton NY, the daughter of Michael E. Koes and Austa I. (Richards) Koes.

Karla graduated from Fulton High School, Class of 1968.  She worked for the US Postal Service in New York and Washington and Sea Galley before going to work for Boeing in 1984.  She retired from Boeing in July 2016 and leaves behind many friends from her time there.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter J. Nothaft.  She is survived by step-daughters, Kelli (Rick) Shewey (Port Angeles, WA) and Wendy Monette (Wenatchee, WA) and, brother, Michael E. Koes, Jr. (Fulton, NY), niece, Rachel Helmer (Vernon Center, NY), and nephew Michael T. Koes (Albany, NY).
