Kathryn was born December 21, 1926, raised and attended school in Bow, Washington. She graduated from Burlington Edison High School with excellent grades. After graduation she worked at a variety of jobs related to accounting for J.C. Penney's, the Carnation Milk Plant and then closed her career at the court house in Mt. Vernon.
Kathryn had four daughters, Jo Ellen Hoag (Steve) of Stanwood, Claudette Moores (Steve) of Conway, Connie Severson of Bellingham and Debbie Severson. She had eleven grand children and fifteen great grandchildren.
Kathryn enjoyed a perfectly manicured yard and worked hard to maintain it. Traveling was also important to her and she felt blessed to have seen many foreign countries and sailed on multiple cruise ships with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents C.D. and Ida Mae Moors, her three brothers, Ceicel Raper, Bob and Burton Moors, her husband, Harold Severson and youngest daughter Debbie.
No formal service has been planned at her request. A family gathering will take place and details are available by contacting family members for information. Her unending personal strength, call it like it is attitude and often no nonsence assessment of a situation will be missed by all that knew her.
