IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Keith
Russell
August 22, 1945 – July 10, 2021
After a brave battle with both cancer and covid pneumonia, Keith Russell went to be with his beloved granddaughter Anah on July 10, 2021. Keith was born August 22, 1945 in Franklin, North Carolina. He spent most of his adult life in Skagit County.
Keith enjoyed many activities: fishing on the Skagit River; playing horseshoes; bowling (he once bowled a perfect 300!); "going visiting" to see his friends; and drinking beers with his many friends at Evelyn's Tavern. His greatest joy, though, was being an excellent and loving grandfather to his granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Treva Russell; brothers, Buddy and George Russell; Sister Lucille Williams; and his cherished granddaughter, Arianah Robinson.
He is survived by his long-time partner, Laura Morgan; daughters, Chantelle and Rachelle Russell; stepson Stephen (Dawn) Rogers; granddaughters, Keiarah and Savanah Lisherness, and Aubree Rogers; great granddaughter Millie Todd; Sisters, Dorothy and Fran Russell and Betty Dibble; brother David Russell; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a joint celebration of life for both him and Arianah on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Lyman Park from 1 to 5 pm. Parking is limited so carpool if possible. Bring a potluck dish if you would like and a comfortable chair to sit in. Water, soft drinks, snacks and cutlery will be available. There will be no formal service just a friendly get together to celebrate our people.
