Kimberly "Kim" Crook Kim was born May 5, 1970 in Pomona, CA to Jeanne Gach of Concrete and Donald Gach of California, she passed away December 18, 2006 at Skagit Valley Hospital. Kim graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1988. Kim was employed by Horizon Bank for 16 years, she joined Whidbey Island Bank-Burlington in September. She married Richard Crook in August of 2002, and they celebrated the birth of their son, Gabriel March 7, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Richard Crook; son, Gabriel; mother, Jeanne Gach; father, Donald Gach; sister, Wendy McLinn; father and mother in law, Charles and Cecelia Crook; sister in law, Heidi Crook; brother in law, Steve McLinn and Mike Crook; grandparents, Jack and Arleta Shields; nephews, Brandon, Justin, Nicholas, Zach and Max; niece, Carly and many other family and friends. Kim will be missed greatly by everyone whose lives she touched. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed camping and drinking Starbucks coffee. Kim was devoted to her career as a mortgage loan officer and was a constant source of knowledge for her clients and a mentor to her co-workers and peers. In lieu of flowers a fund for Gabriel is set up the Whidbey Island Bank. A Celebration of Kim's Life will be held Friday, December 22, 2006, 3:00 pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home
