Leonora Alaniz Garza, our beloved sister, aunt, and wonderful friend has gained her dancing wings!

She was the life of any gathering, always bringing her smiles and dancing shoes to every event. She loved to dance and move to all sorts of music. Her favorite thing to do was teach all her nieces and nephews how to dance and keep movement alive in our family. She would always tell us "you got to move like this, it runs in our blood!" She was set in her ways and loved to do things the old fashioned way. She had an infectious smile and laugh, loved to sing, and she loved to watch her sci-fi tv shows/movies. She adored her seahawks. GO HAWKS.

She is survived by her siblings, Esther Garza Dutcher, Ermilinda Garza Gudde, Leo Garza, and George Garza. Brother in-laws, John A Dutcher, Bryan Gudde, and sister in-law Rocio Cardenas, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins scattered throughout Washington and Texas.

She is preceded in death by parents, Juan Garza Garza, Gabriela Alaniz Garza, sister Patricia Alaniz Garza, brother Juan Garza Jr II. Nephews George Garza Jr, Michael Gomez Garza and niece Danielle Gudde.

She will be missed, but never forgotten, and we will treasure the beautiful memories of her in our hearts.

The family invites all who loved her to services, Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 10:00am to 1:00pm for viewing; and Friday, November 3, 2023, at 12:00pm for burial of the ashes, and reception after. Both days of service will be held at Hawthorne Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 1825 E College Way, Mount Vernon Washington 98273.
