Linda Jean McLaughlin passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 28, 2016. She was 74 years old.

Linda was born March 27, 1942 and was a lifetime resident of Anacortes, Washington.

She was a beautician for most of her younger years and enjoyed her time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Helen O'neil, her sister Judith Mitchell, and her grandson, one of her greatest joys, Taylor McLaughlin.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Earl McLaughlin of Anacortes, her son Michael McLaughlin of Anacortes, her daughter, Niccole McLaughlin of Anacortes, her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Leon Wilson of Lakewood, WA, her sister-inlaw, Wanda Zolla of Boardman, Ohio her grandchildren, Tanner McLaughlin, Camden McLaughlin, and Jazmin Carpenter, her best friends, Linda and Sam Holmes of Anacortes, and many nieces and nephews.

We want to extend a sincere and special thank you to the staff at Hospice of the Northwest for their compassion and diligence in the care of our wife, mother and grandmother in her final fight against cancer.
