Linda Lee Miller, age 79, passed away peacefully at home with Kelly by her side. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Linda will be remembered for her gentle heart, unwavering faith, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.
Linda was born on February 20, 1947, in Shelly to Herman Burrell Mangum and Marjorie Catherine Allen Mangum. She graduated from Quincy High School Class of 1965 and spent her life devoted to family, faith, service, and community.
Linda was united in marriage to Robert J. Miller (“Bob”) on June 9, 1969. Together they built a life centered around love, family, and adventure. They had two sons, Robert and Kelly, and shared many wonderful memories on all their boating vacations.
Linda found joy in sewing, baking, crafting, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. Her family lovingly says that everything she did was an accomplishment because she gave her whole heart to every person and every task in front of her. She created a home filled with warmth, creativity, service, and unconditional love.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in both Mount Vernon and Sedro-Woolley. Linda was also active throughout the years in the Order of the Eastern Star, Oasis Quincy and Cyrene Chapter Sedro-Woolley, the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and local Grange organizations.
Linda is survived by, Robert and wife Jennifer, and children Andraya, Kaetlynn, Carter, and Jaxson; Kelly and wife Kaye children Luci, Kamryn and Lani; siblings Betty Gardner, Oma Murdoch, John Mangum (Lavida), Ernie Mangum (Ann), and Monty Mangum (Nancy).
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bob; her parents, Herman and Marjorie Mangum; and her brothers Bill and David Mangum.
Linda’s legacy will continue through the family she loved deeply and the countless lives she touched through kindness, faith, and service. Her love, strength, and caring spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Graveside service will be held at Hawthorne Cemetery at 11am. Memorial Service will be held at Sedro Woolley Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1pm on May 29, 2026.
