Linda Kay Nix (Underhill) Linda, of Sedro Woolley, passed away May 1, 2013, after a short battle with cancer. She was born July 31, 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK to Ernest and Edna Nix. Linda was a bartender in many local establishments throughout her working career. She opened up many of the most favorite places such as, Skagit Station Dining Co, Daniels and Petro's. She also worked at Cascade Pizza and the Sedro Woolley Eagles just to name some. She had a large clientele and people loved to see her behind the bar. She loved country music and to watch her crime drama TV shows with her faithful companions: Spike, Matty and Piper by her side. She loved keeping her yard nice. She is survived by her children: Sonie (Robert) Wartchow, Kim E. Underhill; her brother: Edwin E Nix; her five grandchildren: Randi Rodman, Jesse Rodman, Cindi Johnson, Tucker Johnson and Hunter Jones; one great-grandchild: Jacob Newman and best friend: Peggy Blanton. She was preceded in death by her parents and son: David. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Sedro Woolley Eagles, 1000 Metcalf, on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm as a potluck.
