Obituary

Lois Anne Palm (Kendrick) passed away peacefully, Sunday morning September 1, 2019. Her Grandson Matthew was by her side, reading the Bible to her, something that was a big part of her life. Lois was born in Excelsior, MN in the home of her Grandmother & Grandfather Zuercher on July 31 st , 1933 to Albert and Ruth Kendrick. Lois was the youngest of six children.

Prior to World War II, her family moved to LA, where her father found work at Lockheed Martin aircraft factory. After the war was almost over, her family moved back to Mn. Mn. was home to her until her high school years when her family moved to a little town in Oregon called Forest Grove, where she was a big part of the Booster Club as a Cheerleader. Lois had long lasting memories of going to the Tillamook Cheese Factory, and always loved their ice cream. Lois graduated from High School in Forest Grove and lived in Denver for a while after high school.

Lois met her husband Floyd at a YMCA Square Dance for singles. Floyd had 3 young children (Brenda, Barbara & Stuart), and Lois had a son (Edward). They were married on Sept 21 st , 1963, and later had their daughter (Jean). As they raised their 5 children, they enjoyed taking them on many camping trips around the country. Lois enjoyed working at the Billy Graham bookstore in Mpls in the 70's and later working as a secretary for a Real Estate office. She had many fond memories of her 2 trips to the Holy Land.
