In Loving Memory of Lynda Kay Chandler

Lynda Kay (King) Chandler of Mt. Vernon, Washington, passed away on February 17, 2026. She was born Linda Kay King on August 12, 1951, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Mary (Teachman) and John King, and later moved to Washington with her family. She graduated from Burlington-Edison High School, Class of 1970, and married Ronnie Lloyd Sanders, with whom she had three children.

Lynda worked for many years at her father's company, Crown Enterprise, before opening Chandler Construction Inc., where she remained dedicated until her retirement in 2015.

She was known for her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit. Lynda loved golfing, spending time in Palm Springs, gardening, painting, sewing, and being with friends and family. Her presence brought comfort, and her generosity touched many lives.

Lynda is survived by her parents; her children, Yancey (Amber) Sanders, Travis Sanders, and Trena Chandler; and her grandchildren, Braylen Sanders, Tyelyn Sanders, Trevor Sanders, Keaton Bailey, Kale Bailey, and Brandon Spaeth. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike & Sharon King and John Jr. & Shari King; her nephews Dusty, Bryson, and Garrett King; and several great-grandchildren and great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her niece, Jena King.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved her.

A celebration of life will be held at the Burlington Eagles on March 28th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
