In Loving Memory

A devoted mother, educator, musician, and cherished member of her community, she lived a life marked by faith, learning, creativity, compassion, and love for God and for those around her. She earned a Doctorate in Education and dedicated her professional life to teaching children from kindergarten through 12th grade. Education was more than a career for her; it was a calling and an expression of her belief in nurturing others. Through teaching, she helped young people learn, grow, discover their potential, and find their place in the world. Her faith in God was an important part of her life. She believed in the enduring power of love, kindness, and service to others. Outside the classroom, she found great joy in music. She loved playing the ukulele and sharing music with others. She was active in her community and treasured the friendships and connections she formed throughout her life. She also had a special love for flowers and the beauty of nature, finding joy and a sense of God’s creation in the world around her. Her life touched her family, her students, her friends, and her community. She will be remembered for her devotion to God and family, her lifelong dedication to education, her love of music and nature, her sense of humor, and the kindness and love she shared with others. She is survived by her four children: Peter of Scottsdale, Arizona; Johann of Mount Vernon, Washington; Matthias of Seattle, Washington; and Annemarie of Vienna, Austria.
