Maria Valera, age 45 passed away February 26, 2015 in Mount Vernon, WA. A closed casket visitation will take place Friday, February 27, 2015 from 3:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. at Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon WA. Rosary will be prayed at the Vigil Sunday, March 1, 2015, 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Mount Vernon. A Funeral Mass will take place Monday, March 2, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Martin Bourke and Father Emilio Gonzalez presiding followed by a Graveside Service at Hawthorne Memorial Park. Following the services a reception will be held at the St. Joseph Center. At her request in lieu of flowers please make donations to the Immaculate Conception new church fund.
