On June 4th, 2018, Marie S. Hyler, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born on August 18th, 1933 in Person County North Carolina, Marie met and married her husband Pete and together they had a family of 6 children; Janice, Jim, Barb, Gladys, Patricia and Richard. The family moved from Danville, VA to Sedro-Woolley, WA in 1958 where Marie and Pete put down roots and raised their family. Marie worked at Evergreen Terrace in Mount Vernon and also at Sedro-Woolley Laundry and Dry Cleaning. Marie was strong in her faith and loved spending time with her family. She was also an accomplished bowler (best in the family). Marie enjoyed riding her very own 4-wheeler at the dunes in Oregon, and she really enjoyed watching her kids play softball. Marie was preceded in death by her parents Oscar Shelton and Fannie Dishman, her husband, Pete Hyler and her grandson Lenny Clontz. She is survived by her 6 children; Janice Inman, Jimmy Hyler, Barb Parker, Gladys Long (Steve), Patricia Cook (Frank) and Richard Hyler. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved yorkies, Momma and Kaci. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June14, 2018 at 11:00am at Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, WA.
