Marjorie Lucille (Baker) La France

Our family turned the page and closed the book of our very beloved Mother's life on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, Marjorie La France was  94.

Marjorie was born on December 24, 1921 in Wolford, North Dakota in a small farming community. She was married in 1942 to Eugene La France. Marjorie and Eugene moved to Renton, Washington in 1954 where Eugene was employed by the Boeing Company until retiring in 1971. Upon his passing Marjorie returned to Rolla North Dakota. Marjorie came to Mount Vernon, Washington to live out here remaining years with her family in 2011.

Marjorie is now united with those loved ones that preceded her in death: husband, one son Kenneth, one brother Harry, two sisters Ruth and Margaret (twin sister).

She leaves behind five children  Bill (Sharon), Darrell, Alfred (LeeAnn), Shirley and Marilyn (Joe), her nine grandchildren Sheila, Melissa, Eric, Jaymee, Ricky, Stephanie, Crystal, Tina and Tanya, eighteen great-grandchildren McAlister, McKayla, JJ, Taylor, Camden, Miken, Raygina, Jonathan, Patrick, Alyssa, Aiden, Kaycee, Jordan, Jake, Aiden, Lexi, Sopheria and Bella. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and her many friends.

Special thanks to the Nurses and Aids of Josephine Caring Community, she loved you all and the family is thankful for the loving care she received.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Thursday October 27, 2016 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of life, 11:00 a.m. at Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, Washington. A reception will follow in the Hawthorne Reception Room
