IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mark Loren
Davenport
January 28, 1954 – June 24, 2022
Mark Davenport passed away on June 24, 2022, in Burlington, Washington. He was born in San Francisco, CA in 1954 and attended Diablo Valley College after moving to Benicia, CA, where he met his wife, Denise Paulley. They had three children before moving to Burlington, Washington in 1992, Nicole, Joshua, and Elisha.
Mark was a long-haul truck driver for many years, and enjoyed his later years in life where he was able to focus on his passions for genealogy research, sports collectables and events, cooking, and spending time with his grandson, Lucas Svoboda. It's fair to say that he preferred animals over most humans, and had a number of dogs throughout his life that he cherished.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Denise, his son, Joshua, his siblings, Karen and Scott Davenport, and his parents, Mary, Dave, and stepmother Elaine Davenport. He is survived by his two daughters, Nicole and Elisha Paulley-Davenport, grandson Lucas Svoboda, nephew Troy Davenport, and niece Christie Davenport, as well as additional extended family.
Mark left us too soon and will be missed. He enjoyed hosting dinners with his late son's friends and girlfriend and prided himself in caring for his garden to honor is his late wife, and would often share memories of both his late wife and son. Mark will be missed by his family and friends, especially those who he met on the road.
