Marlys W Cummings, 90, of Sedro Woolley, WA passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2020 with her family by her side.  Marlys was born to Talton and Valentine Roberts on July 15, 1930 in Midland, South Dakota.  Marlys had many interests and hobbies which included writing poetry, spending time with her friends and family and her favorite activity was doing the families genealogy.

Marlys is survived by her life companion Theodore Cummings, her son Richard Henry King, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.  She held a special place in her heart for her grandson Ricky, his wife Keri and Ricky Jr and Hunter who were always by her side and loved her dearly.  Marlys was preceded in death by her parents, her son Gary King and her siblings Thomas Roberts, Irene Middleton, Lucille Daughery and Cleta Putnam.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 1:00pm at Hawthorne Memorial Park in Mount Vernon, WA.
