Martha (Widman) Broderson, Poor, Age 91 passed away February 8, 2007 in Sedro Woolley WA. She was born February 20, 1915 in Port Townsend WA., to Chriss and Sophia Widman. She was married 51 years to Louis Broderson, he died in 1993. They lived in the Puget Sound area as well as in Eastern Washington. Martha was a beautician and owned and operated 2 beauty shops. She was an active member of Eastern Star, Ladies of the Nile and Shrine. She loved to cook and bake and was noted for her cookies. At the age of 80 she took a computer class and wrote a cookbook, she also wrote a book on her family history. Family and friends were very special to her and she stayed in touch with her letters, which were a treat to receive. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. In later years she moved to Montana to be near her daughter and family. At the age of 82 she married Edward Poor, a life long friend and moved back to Washington State. They had 10 wonderful years together. She is survived by her husband Ed of Sedro-Woolley WA, son Hugh (Mary) Broderson of Hamilton MT, son Dewey Broderson of Lakewood WA, daughter Sandra (Bruce) Lund Great Falls MT, Stepson Jim (Mary) Poor of Yakima, WA, Stepdaughter Nancy (Pat) Cross of North Bend OR, and her brother Walt Widman of Cathlameut, WA, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 sisters, 2 brother and 2 grandchildren. She will be inurned in Wenatchee WA. At Martha's request there will be no services. Memorials in Martha's name may be made to Shriners Hospital in Spokane, WA or charity of your choice.
