Mary Elizabeth Davis, 94, of Mount Vernon, WA passed away peacefully on August 22, 2018 surrounded by family. Mary was born to Harry and Flora Thaw on November 17, 1932 in Verga, New Jersey. Mary worked for the Oak Harbor and Mount Vernon School Districts. She also worked in the ship yards for the government during the war and was a bouncer for her mother. She was married on August 26, 1946 and had 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Being a military wife, Mary and the family moved extensively from New York to Panama to Hawaii to Anacortes, Oak Harbor, Mount Vernon, and Sedro Woolley.
Mary had many hobbies and she loved to collect dolls. She was a longtime member of the S.P.B.C.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert Davis, son William John Davis, niece Karie Ann Sebrechts, brother Herman and a sister Flora.
