Obituary

Morgan Thorgne Johnson Jr, 82, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023, in Sedro Woolley, WA. Morgan was born on November 15, 1941, in Klamath Falls, OR.

Morgan attended the University of Oregon majoring in art and later attended Portland State University majoring in System Science. A highlight while attending University of Oregon was meeting Buckmaster Fuller.

After college he followed his passion for art and design while working with Jack in the Box restaurants, Solomon Brothers Trading Room in New York and Chicago Board of Trade. He also held workshops in Washington state sharing his enthusiasm with talented and gifted students. While in Denver he established "Art in the School" program. Morgan founded a computer chip company using innovative technology and a company to test chips. Morgan holds approximately 80 patents.

Morgan had many hobbies and interests including a love of classic cars, classic movies, 50's music, taking his Jaguar out for drives, and being part of the the Elon Musk Mars Project. He also enjoyed spending time with family, friends and co-workers.

Morgan was preceded in death by his Mother Mary Harriett Bratton Johnson and his Father Morgan Johnson Sr. He is survived by his wife Judy Johnson, sister Marilyn Leonard, Brother in law Sandy Leonard, Daughter Hillary Johnson, sons Din Johnson and Morgan Maxwell Johnson, Stepdaughter Debbie Pedersen, Stepson in law Erik Pedersen, Stepdaughter Danna Jennings, Stepson Bill Jennings, Stepdaughter in law Jamie Jennings, Grandchildren Tyrone, Jennifer, Josiah, Lauren, Paul, Gunnar and Audrey.

A memorial will be held via Zoom on January 28, 2024 at 3PM.
