Obituary

Murray Keith Bullock, 65, of Mount Vernon, WA passed away peacefully on May 10, 2020.  Murray was born Taft, CA on July 3, 1954 and moved to Washington with his family in 1957, where he became a lifelong Washingtonian.  He attended grade school in Anacortes, Burlington and White Center.  He graduated from Burlington Edison High School in 1972.  Murray enjoyed sports of all kinds, playing football and baseball throughout high school.  After graduation he joined the United States Navy and served as a Seabee during the early 1970's and the Vietnam conflict.  After leaving the Navy Murray went to a culinary arts college and became a chef.  He worked at the Space Needle in Seattle for a few years and the returned to the Skagit Valley where he cooked for several local establishments including Draft Pics and the Conway Pub and Eatery.  Murray enjoyed fishing very much and especially enjoyed being on the Skagit River.

Murray was preceded in death by his father Gerald and his mother Doris.  He is survived by his brother Michael and his wife Susan, sister Marilyn, his stepfather Max and four nieces and nephews, Lisa, Eli, Stephanie and Zach.  There are many more who considered him a brother.
