Nina L. Blair, Mount Vernon
resident, passed away at
Harborview
Hospital
in
Seattle
on May 19, 2016 after complications from a stroke.
Nina was born on December 5, 1958 in
Everett
,
WA
.
She met her husband Norm Blair when they both worked at
Smokey Point
,
WA
and they were married in 1992.
She started out as an operator at Verizon and became a business rep before retiring after 30 years.
Besides her husband and her stepson, Jake, Nina is survived by her parents George and Connie Delp of Marysville and her sisters, Sue Craven(Jim) of Everett and daughters Haleigh and Devin, Gina Jones of Arlington, daughter Lauren and son Austin.
She leaves two cats at home, Mugs and Zoe, whom she adored.
She will be remembered by many for her kindness to one and all.
One of her wishes came true and that was to live in
Mount Vernon
.
A memorial service will be held at Hawthorne Funeral Home,
1825 East College Way
Mount Vernon
on June 2
nd
at 1:00pm.
