Noel Guthrie went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2023 at the age of 90. After graduating from Anacortes High School, he discovered his dream
career in the United States Air Force. He served his country for 20 years as a navigator and retired at the rank of Lt. Colonel. Noel retained his love of flying into his second career with the Federal Aviation Administration as an air traffic controller until his final retirement.

During his life, Noel said he had been blessed to be married to two special ladies. Odessa "Gus" Elrod Guthrie who died in 1973 and Sandi
Edwards Guthrie, his wife of the past forty-one years. He is also survived by his daughters, Karen and Katrina, and his stepson, Ed (Sandy). In
addition to his wife, daughters, stepson, Noel is survived by his brother, Elmer (Sandy).

Noel was preceded in death by his parents, Rexford and Martha Guthrie, his brother, Gerald, and his sister-in-law, Evelyn.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of your choice or Wounded Warrior Project.

A celebration of life will be at His Place Community Church in Burlington, Washington, on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 1 PM.
