Norma Jean Booth (Jean) passed away September 30, 2015 at St Joseph's Hospital in Bellingham. She was born January 13, 1930 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Fred and Rose Marsh. The Marsh family later moved to Idaho where she attended school. At age 19 she met Joe Booth, they later married March 8, 1949 in Caldwell Idaho. They were married for 56 years before his passing in 2005. In 1966 they moved to the Skagit Valley where their 4 children were raised and attended school. Her time was spent camping, fishing, gardening, crocheting and being with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, baking and fixing Sunday family dinners. She is survived by her 4 children, Lynda (Steve) Hagen of Burlington, Fred (Donna) Booth of Burlington, Ted Booth and Melissa Trial of Sedro Woolley, 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 sister and 1 brother of Grandview, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, 4 sisters, 1 half sister and 3 brothers. She will be missed greatly. She was the glue that held the family together. A graveside Service will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 1:00pm at Hawthorne Memorial Park, 1825 E College Way, Mount Vernon, WA. Following Graveside there will be refreshments at Trinity Lutheran Church 301 S 18th Street Mount Vernon. Everyone is invited.
