Olive Caroline Torset passed away April 18, 2018 at The Bridge Assisted Living in Mount Vernon, WA 3 days before her 101st birthday. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota April 21, 1917. Olive attended Stanwood, WA schools. She married Ole Torset August 21, 1937 in Mount Vernon, WA before moving to Conway, WA and Then retired to Mount Vernon area, spending the last 4 ½ years of her life at "The Bridge" in Mount Vernon, where she received excellent loving care. Olive enjoyed gardening and arranging and her trips to the casino with friends. She was a member of the Fir-Conway Garden Club and Fir-Conway Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Ole, and her daughter Dianne. She is survived by her son; Don (Dianne) Torset, son in law; Lynn Silsbee, grandchildren; Don (Breanne) Torset David (Michelle) Torset, Kerri, Jeff (Christine) Silsbee, Lynda Silsbee (Jay Smith), great grandchildren; Hunter, Ellary Torset, Katy and Kylie Digges, Kelli (Tyler) McKibben Ganyo, Jeff (Sandra) Silsbee, Rob (Lauren) Silsbee, Elizabeth (Alex) Leister, Patrick (Lauren) Silsbee and Olivia Silsbee, 7 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Olive will be missed by many of her dear friends. Memorials may be made in Olive's name to Hospice. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2018 , 11:00am at Hawthorne Memorial park in Mount Vernon.
