Obituary

Pamela Joy Anderson passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022, at Swedish Medical Hospital, Edmonds Wa.

She was born on May 13, 1954 in Redwood Falls, MN, to parents William Sutten and Cornelia Dow. William Sutten married Irene Houle, January 27, 1962, who raised Elizabeth Houle, Louise Houle, Pamela Sutten, Kim Sutten, and Rance Sutten. They all relocated to Seattle, Washington in 1965. Two years later moved to Alger, Washington.

Pam graduated from Burlington Edison High School 1972, and also went to Western Washington College to be a CNA. She decided to move to Denver, Colorado 1975. While living in Denver, Pam had married Elmer Valdez, March of 1977. In 1980, Elmer had passed away due to health problems. After his passing, Pam moved back to Washington State, to reside in Mt. Vernon with family.

Pam had worked at TownePlace Suites, where she retired from. She enjoyed camping, bowling, gardening, bingo, playing poker, and dancing. Pam loved her Denver Broncos team, but would also root for the Seattle Seahawks, and any chance she got to go see the Seattle Mariners. Pam valued anytime she had with family and friends. No matter what, she would help anyone out in every situation.

Pam is proceeded in death by her parents William Sutten and Irene Sutten; sisters Elizabeth (Chee Chee) Houle and Michelle Johnston; brother Norman (Butch) Sutten; nephew William (Billy) Sutten; late husband Randall M. Anderson (married April 2000).

Pam leaves behind daughter Rose Valdez(Tim Hicks); granddaughter Andi Hicks; son Will Valdez-Malloy(Erika Duffy); sisters Louise Houle, Kim Sutten, and Jenny Dow; brother Rance Sutten (Joni Sutten); nieces Cindy Houle, Brandi Sutten, and Nikki Dow-Markuson and family. Pam is part of a huge extended family, and leaving behind numerous friends.

We can't thank everyone enough for all the laughter, tears and the wonderful memories that you've shared with our mom, sister, grandmother and aunt.

Your laughter will be forever missed, as well as the time we all got to spend with you. You will be dearly missed and will never be forgotten. We love you so much, till we all meet again, fly high sweet angel.

A graveside service will be held on August 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, WA. A reception service will be held on August 20, 2022, from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM, at 4927 Delaware Ave, Everett, WA, 98203. Flowers and Cards can also be sent to this address.
