Obituary

Our dearest Pam sadly left us on Sunday afternoon December 17, 2023, at Skagit Valley Hospital. She was born to Nelda Lee Willis of Day Creek on January 14, 1949, at Sedro Woolley Hospital.

Pam had a great love of life and did it her way! She enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening, cooking, outings to the casino, Sunday night football, and Costco shopping dates with her son Andy. Mom was a longtime member of the of the Burlington Eagles and the Moose Lodge of Mount Vernon where she enjoyed volunteering, fundraising, bowling, and softball leagues with the clubs. All while doing what she loved, she made lifetime friends along the way.

She went by many names and wore hats for all – to some she was Mom, to many she was Aunty Pam or Pammy. But the most special name she had was Nanna/Nanny. Nama loved nothing more than her great-grandbabies. Lots of cookies were made, books were read, movies watched, forts that were slept in and love that was shared. Her favorite saying with them was, "I love you to the moon and back and to eternity."

Pam is survived by her 5 children: her daughter Rita Ramey (Rodney Rolph) of Sedro Woolley, son Andy Peterson of Burlington, daughter, Nelda (Chris) Benfield of Mount Vernon, daughter Susan Weissert, and son Arnold Ramey. 7 grandchildren: Andrew (Chelsy) Branch of Everson, Codi Rolph (Kody) Taylor of Sedro Woolley, Tyanna Greathouse (James Couture) of Sedro Woolley, Tanner Rolph of Sedro Woolley, Austin Greathouse of Mount Vernon, Michael Nichols, and Christopher Nichols. And her 10 great-grandchildren: Izzy, Anthony, Nickolis, Madilynn, Benjamin Branch, Elliot, Reece, Jessa, Hannah Taylor, and Rainey Couture.

Pam is also survived by her wonderful longtime Eagles family that adored her and miss her deeply, as we all do.

Celebration of life will be announced later. Thank you, Hawthorne Funeral Home, for taking care of her, and her wishes. Love, the family.

"May her family and friends be happy."
