Patricia B Phillips "Pat"

Patricia B.  Phillips, age 81, a longtime resident of Mount Vernon passed away January 25, 2022, in Bellingham.  She was born in Renton WA on February 22, 1940, to Thomas H. and Martha C. Williams.  Married to Sherm Courier in 1958 until his passing in 2005.  Pat was lucky enough to find another life partner, Dick Phillips whom she married in 2007. Early in life Pat was a homemaker and filled her days raising her children.  Pat owned and operated her own VW parts store in Southern California complimenting her then husbands VW repair facility.  The family moved back to Washington in 1981, Pat worked many retail positions before she retired.  Her new life with Dick offered many new adventures.  Pat loved her family, her cats, hummingbirds and frogs.  Recently she enjoyed being a Great Grandma.  She leaves behind her loving husband of 15 years Dick Phillips, her daughters Carol (Courier) Burton of Burlington, Teresa Courier of Twin Falls, ID and Patty (Jim) Cruse of Mount Vernon.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mike (Emily) Danielson, Nicole Cruse, Brandon (Chenoa) Cruse. Great grandchildren, Abbi Danielson, Tyson Danielson, Ashton Cruse and Taryn Cruse and brother, Tom (Elena) Williams.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sheryl Lynn Courier and sister Nancy.  She will forever be remembered as the "go to" for many questions.  She will be dearly missed by many.
