Patrick M. "Rick" Mason Rick was born July 29, 1952 in Everett, WA to Monroe and Rita Mason; he passed away peacefully with his family by his side November 20, 2012. He was a US Coastguardsman 1971-1975 serving as E-3. He worked for the Dept. of Licensing starting in 1984, Transferring to Dept. of Transportation in 1989, and retiring from Dept. of Engineering. He is survived by his wife Malinda Mason. He raised 5 children- Nicole Estrada of Modesto, Ca., Ron Mason of Burlington Wa., Jessi Mason of Mt. Vernon Wa., Erica Guesford of Mt. Vernon Wa.,and R.J. Mason of Bakersfield Ca. Many grandchildren and was expecting his first great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Grace and Lonnie Aschenbrenner of Big Lake Wa. He enjoyed hunting, wood-working, playing cards, spending time with his grandchildren and traveling.
