Obituary

Paul S. Whisman, 71, of Mount Vernon, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2020. Paul was born on July 24, 1948 in Everett, WA to Joseph and Edna Whisman. He graduated from Stanwood High School in 1966 and went on to spend 2 years in the Army. After Paul was discharged from the Army he began working at NAPA where he spent 50 years selling auto parts. During his youth he also worked at his dad's shop in Mukilteo. In 1980, Paul married Lana Beecher who had 3 teenage kids which he later adopted.

Paul never met a stranger. Everywhere he went someone would holler "Hey Paul, haven't seen you in forever". He loved spending time with his grandkids (who called him grandpa "knows all"), fishing in his fishpond, camping, cruising to Alaska, Nascar races, and keeping in touch with friends and family on his computer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Edna Whisman. Paul is survived by his wife Lana of 39 years, brother Charles, children Angela French; Michaela Ranger (Bob); James Whisman (Carrie), step children Michael and John, grandchildren Kayla, Jessica, Jacob, Reva, Brianna, and Christopher; great grandson Aiden; many nieces, nephews and friends.

At Paul's request there will be no services at this time. He said, "Just have a beer or two and party on".
