Pauline E. Sager-Foster Pauline was born June 18, 1917 in Lebanon, OR to James Edward and Katie May Wolfe, she passed away June 28, 2008 in Mount Vernon. She graduated from Nyssa High School in Oregon in 1935. She married C. (Clarence) Earl Sager January 26, 1936 in Nyssa, Oregon and lived there until 1939 when they moved to the Tacoma area. In 1945 they then moved to the Big Lake area. Pauline enjoyed china and oil painting. She also cooked at the Big Lake School for many years. She taught Sunday school for many years. Earl passed away in 1990. In 1991 she married Howard Foster, Howard passed away in 2007. Pauline is survived by her children: Barbara Jeanne (Duane) Sturdy, Ronald James (Nancy) Sager, Gary Earl (Suzanne) Sager, Paul David (Carolynn) Sager, and Sherilee Ann Sager; brother: Glenn (Betty) Wolfe; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; step-children: Bob, Jim (Kathy), Jerry (Lori) Foster and Diane (Don) Bransford. Viewing will be held Thursday, July 3, 2008, 10:00 am until 5:00 pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home and Saturday, July 5, 2008 11:00 am until the Graveside Service, 1:00 pm at Hawthorne Memorial Park, followed by a Memorial Service, 2:00 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mount Vernon with Pastor John Ruhlman presiding. Memorials may be made in Pauline's name to Emmanuel Baptist Church.
