Pearl was born and raised in Labrador, Canada. She married John Allen in 1966 and together they moved to California in 1967, eventually settling in the Pacific Northwest. Pearl passed away on January 4, 2010, in Mount Vernon, Washington. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, and five grandchildren. A celebration of Pearl's life will be held on Monday, January 11, 2009, 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Hawthorne Reception Room, 1825 E. College Way, Mount Vernon. Donations can be made in Pearl's memory to the Salvation Army or the Vietnam Veteran's Fund.
